Manal holds a M.Sc. in IT (Data & Knowledge Management) from The British University in Dubai (in affiliation with University of Edinburgh), and has a record of achievements including: Winner of Dubai Startup Weekend, ArabTech Finalist, Siemens-Mastercard Future Transportation Hackathon Finalist.
Currently, Manal is also acting as Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) for a number of startups.
Manal Rayes is the founder of Garage-X, MENA’s leading digital launchpad and studio for apps with NoCode with training programs to upskill citizen developers.
Manal joined as a mentor in Silicon Valley’s Founder Institute (UAE & GCC), before launching Garage-X as a response to the new futuristic trend in the intersection of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Citizen Developers and Digital Innovations with NoCode/LowCode. Manal was a featured speaker in a number of conferences and a judge for a number of startup events and participated in around 200+ events and workshops for university students.
Manal designed, developed, launched, and directed many digital solutions for companies, founders, and as social enterprises.
